Vaishno Devi ‘Fake’ Silver Offering Case CJM Summons Crime Branch Inquiry Officer with Records

Divya Delhi : A Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) has summoned the Crime Branch inquiry officer along with all relevant records in connection with the alleged fake silver offering case at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. The case involves allegations that counterfeit or substandard silver offerings were presented as genuine donations, raising concerns over transparency and accountability in the management of shrine offerings. During the hearing, the court directed the investigating officer to produce the complete case records to facilitate further judicial examination. The Crime Branch has been investigating the matter to determine the authenticity of the silver items, identify those responsible, and establish whether any financial irregularities or fraud took place. The court’s direction is expected to expedite the legal proceedings and ensure a fair and transparent investigation into the allegations.
