Divya Delhi : A grand Regional-Level National Integration Festival 2026 was organized on Friday at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Sector-3, Rohini. The programme commenced at 9:00 a.m. with the welcome of the Chief Guest, Shri Varun Mitra, Deputy Commissioner, KVS Delhi Region, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, a green welcome and a welcome song. The school Principal, Mrs. Anita Singh, warmly welcomed the guests and participants. A vibrant Haryanvi dance and various cultural performances captivated the audience. The event was organized under the theme “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat and Kala Utsav”, with the objective of promoting national unity, cultural diversity, mutual harmony and the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat among students. Held under the able guidance of Principal Mrs. Anita Singh and Vice-Principal Mr. Anil Kumar, the event witnessed the participation of 217 students and escorts from 29 Kendriya Vidyalayas of the Delhi Region. Students showcased the rich diversity of Indian folk culture and traditions through their performances. Various competitions, including solo dance, group dance, Kala Utsav dance, quiz and instrumental music, were organized. Under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative, an exhibition featuring artworks and projects highlighting the rich cultural heritage, traditions, art and lifestyle of *Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh* was also displayed and widely appreciated. The judging panel evaluated the performances on parameters such as presentation, creativity, confidence, coordination, cultural expression and overall performance. Students securing first, second and third positions were felicitated, while the efforts and enthusiasm of all participants were highly appreciated. During the concluding session, Chief Guest Shri Varun Mitra, Deputy Commissioner, KVS Delhi Region, emphasized the importance of national unity, cultural diversity and mutual respect. He encouraged students to understand, preserve and carry forward India’s rich cultural heritage. The enthusiastic participation of students and their outstanding cultural performances made the event a grand success and a memorable celebration of India’s unity in diversity.
