DIVYA DELHI : A grand Independence Day celebration was organized at Pioneer Convent Sr. Sec. School on the occasion of India’s Independence Day. The programme reflected the spirit of patriotism and featured a variety of cultural and educational activities presented by the students. The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag followed by the National Anthem. Students enthusiastically participated in a range of cultural programmes including patriotic songs, speeches, poems, dance performances, skits and other presentations highlighting India’s freedom struggle, national unity and the sacrifices of the country’s freedom fighters. Students from different classes actively participated in the programme and showcased their talent and patriotic spirit. The performances were appreciated by the teachers, parents and guests present on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Seema Bajaj encouraged students to draw inspiration from the courage and sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters. She urged them to become responsible and disciplined citizens and contribute positively to the progress and development of the nation. The programme was also graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Guruvinder Kaur and Dr. Pramod Ji who appreciated the efforts of the school management, teachers and students in organizing the patriotic celebration. The event concluded with a message emphasizing the importance of national unity, discipline, education and responsible citizenship, along with patriotic slogans that brought the celebration to a memorable close.
