Diljit Dosanjh’s Delhi Concert on October 30: Check Traffic Restrictions and Alternative Routes

DIVYA DELHI : Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory ahead of Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh’s scheduled concert at Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium on Friday, October 30. Traffic restrictions and diversions may remain in place in the surrounding areas from 1 PM to midnight to manage congestion and the expected rush of concertgoers. According to the advisory, several roads in south Delhi may be affected, including Bhishma Pitamah Marg, Lodhi Road, Lala Lajpat Rai Marg, Arch Bishop Marg, Fourth and Fifth Avenue Roads, Dayal Singh College Road and roads around the CGO Complex and Lodhi Colony. Traffic movement near Barapullah Flyover and JLN Stadium may also be disrupted. Motorists have been advised to avoid affected stretches wherever possible, plan their journeys in advance and follow directions issued by traffic personnel. Commuters travelling through south Delhi should allow additional time to reach their destinations. The Delhi Metro has been recommended as the preferred mode of transport. Concertgoers can use JLN Stadium or Jangpura Metro stations on the Violet Line, depending on their entry gates and travel arrangements. General public parking will not be available around the stadium, and visitors are advised to use designated pick-up and drop-off points.
