Adani Enterprises Denies Reports of Plans to Enter Airline Business

Divya Delhi : Adani Enterprises Ltd. has dismissed media reports claiming that the company is planning to enter the airline business, stating that the reports are speculative and factually incorrect. The company clarified that it has no such proposal under consideration and urged stakeholders not to rely on unverified information. The clarification came after reports suggested that the Adani Group was exploring opportunities to launch or acquire an airline, sparking widespread discussion in business circles. In response, Adani Enterprises issued a statement denying the claims and reaffirmed its commitment to transparency in corporate disclosures. The company emphasized that any material development or business decision would be communicated through official regulatory channels in accordance with applicable disclosure norms. It also advised investors and the public to rely only on official announcements for accurate information. Adani Group already has a significant presence in India’s aviation infrastructure sector through the operation and management of several airports. However, the company clarified that these operations should not be interpreted as an indication of plans to enter the commercial airline business.
