DIVYA DELHI : A major building collapse in Delhi’s Chawri Bazaar has triggered an intensive rescue operation after at least two people lost their lives and several others were feared trapped beneath the debris. The three-storey structure suddenly collapsed, creating panic in the densely populated market area. Emergency response teams, including police personnel, firefighters and rescue workers, rushed to the spot to carry out search and rescue operations. Heavy debris and the narrow lanes of the area have made the operation challenging. Authorities are working to locate survivors and provide immediate assistance to those affected. Rescue teams are carefully clearing the rubble while efforts continue to assess the extent of the damage. Further details regarding the cause of the collapse and the number of casualties are awaited.
