DIVYA DELHI : Director Abhishek Pathak has indicated that there are no plans to continue the Drishyam franchise with a fourth instalment, suggesting that Drishyam 3 brings the story to a fitting conclusion. Despite the franchise’s reported box-office success and strong audience interest, the filmmaker believes the narrative deserves to end on a meaningful note rather than continue indefinitely. The Drishyam franchise, known for its suspense, unexpected twists and psychological mind games, has established a strong following among Indian moviegoers. The story revolves around Vijay Salgaonkar, played by Ajay Devgn, a family man who uses his intelligence and resourcefulness to protect his loved ones when they become entangled in a criminal investigation. The franchise’s popularity has largely been driven by its gripping storytelling, carefully constructed clues and the constant battle of wits between Vijay and the investigating authorities. Each instalment has added new layers to the central conflict, keeping audiences invested in the family’s fate.
