Divya Delhi : Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi said that hosting the 2030 Commonwealth Games (CWG) represents a shared dream of the youth of Gujarat as well as the entire nation. He highlighted the importance of the mega sporting event in inspiring young people and strengthening India’s sporting ambitions. Sanghavi said the proposed Games could provide a major platform for Indian athletes and encourage greater participation in sports among the younger generation. He also emphasised the role of sports in building discipline, confidence and a competitive spirit among youth. The Deputy Chief Minister’s remarks come as India continues to focus on strengthening its sports infrastructure and creating better opportunities for athletes. A successful bid to host the 2030 CWG could also boost sports facilities and generate wider interest in competitive sports.
