Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday delivered a pointed message to Pakistan while addressing the Indian community in Germany, marking one year since the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians

Referring to India’s response through Operation Sindoor, Singh praised the armed forces for their decisive action against terror targets. “There is no need to tell you what our army has done… our military power has become stronger than before,” he said.Without naming Pakistan directly, Singh issued a cryptic warning, stating that while India maintains good relations with most neighbours, “only one is troublesome.” He added, “If a neighbour tries to create trouble, then ‘dot, dot, dot’,” implying firm retaliation without elaborating further.Singh reiterated that India has never initiated aggression but will respond decisively to threats. He highlighted the country’s growing military strength and its shift from being a major arms importer to an emerging exporter, noting defence exports of around ₹39,000 crore.During his three-day visit, Singh also addressed German lawmakers on global security challenges, including tensions in the Strait of Hormuz. He warned that disruptions there could significantly impact India’s energy security and economic stability, given its reliance on West Asian oil supplies.
