Divya Delhi : Vidya Bharati Delhi Prant, through its Seva Shiksha Vibhag, inaugurated the Mata Revatibai Sanskar Kendra at Narendra Nath Memorial Trust, Shyam Nagar, Delhi, as part of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Centenary Year celebrations. Established by Saraswati Bal Mandir, Rajouri Garden, the centre aims to nurture children with Indian cultural values, patriotism, and moral education. The Sanskar Kendra has been named after Mata Revatibai, the mother of Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, founder of the RSS. The programme began with Deep Prajwalan and Saraswati Vandana by Shri Anil Gupta, Prant Karyavah, RSS. Distinguished guests included Shri Vinay Gupta, Sanyojak of Kutumb Prabodhan Activity, Delhi Prant, and Shri Purushottam Ji, President of the Narendra Nath Memorial Trust. Addressing the gathering, Shri Anil Gupta said Sanskar Kendras are centres for character-building that instil Bharatiya culture, patriotism, discipline, and social harmony among children. He highlighted the significance of cultural values in shaping responsible citizens and a strong nation. Shri Narendra Dutt, Prant Sanyojak, stated that the newly inaugurated centre is the 122nd Sanskar Kendra of Vidya Bharati Delhi Prant, the 29th in Paschimi Vibhag, and the 6th established by Saraswati Bal Mandir, Rajouri Garden. A Bal Pustakalaya (Children’s Library) and Swadhyaya Yojana (Self-Study Initiative) were also inaugurated during the event. Students presented patriotic songs, Sanskar Geet, and poetry, while several educationists and social workers attended the ceremony, which concluded with the rendition of the Rashtra Geet.
