DIVYA DELHI : An Indian-origin man, Vijay Kumar (51), has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife and three relatives following a domestic dispute in Lawrenceville, police said. The victims include his wife Meemu Dogra (43) and relatives Gourav Cumar (33), Nidhi Chander (37), and Harish Chander (38). According to Gwinnett County Police, the shooting occurred in the early hours at a family residence. Kumar’s 12-year-old child called 911, while three children were later found hiding safely in a closet. Kumar was arrested nearby and has been charged with multiple counts, including felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, and cruelty to children. The Indian Mission in Atlanta expressed grief over the incident and said it is extending all possible assistance to the victims’ families. Police said there are no outstanding suspects and the investigation is ongoing, with the motive believed to be domestic-related.
