Divya Delhi : New York/Washington, July 16: U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly considering expanding American military operations against Iran as tensions between the two countries continue to escalate. Senior administration officials have discussed several military options, including broader airstrikes and targeting additional strategic locations, while diplomatic efforts remain stalled. According to reports, Trump has not yet approved a major escalation but has authorized the continuation of ongoing military actions. The administration says the objective is to pressure Iran over its military activities and nuclear programme while protecting U.S. interests and commercial shipping in the region. Iran has rejected U.S. demands, increasing fears of a wider regional conflict.
