DIVYA DELHI : The makers of Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia-starrer The Vvaan: Force Of The Forrest have acquired the synchronization (sync) rights to musician Sargam Vaish’s recording of the devotional track Aigiri Nandini, following his allegation that the recording was used in the film’s trailer without permission. Vaish had raised the issue on September 20, claiming that his master recording, including his vocals and production, appeared in the trailer without his prior consent. He said he had not authorised its use for the film or its promotional material and sought clarification from the makers. Following the complaint, the legal team of Balaji Motion Pictures, associated with the film’s production, met Vaish on September 21 and subsequently acquired the sync rights to the recording. Vaish described the discussions as cooperative and said the matter was resolved smoothly. However, Vaish said the source through which his recording reached the film’s team remains unknown. He added that efforts are underway to trace how the master recording was accessed. The development comes ahead of the film’s reported September 25 theatrical release.
