Divya Delhi : Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is conspiring to remove the names of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and minority community voters from electoral rolls. The Chief Minister made the remarks while addressing a public gathering, accusing the BJP of attempting to influence the electoral process. Revanth Reddy claimed that vulnerable sections of society were being unfairly targeted through voter list revisions and urged the Election Commission to ensure that the electoral rolls remain accurate and inclusive. He appealed to eligible voters to verify their names in the voter list and report any discrepancies to the authorities. The Chief Minister also called on party workers to assist citizens in checking their voter registration and safeguarding their voting rights. Meanwhile, the BJP has rejected similar allegations in the past, maintaining that voter list revisions are conducted by the Election Commission in accordance with established procedures. The issue has sparked political debate in the state ahead of upcoming elections, with both parties expected to intensify their campaigns.
