Divya Delhi : Karur, Tamil Nadu, July 10: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay visited Karur for the first time since the recent stampede, aiming to balance immediate rehabilitation efforts with long-term development initiatives in the district. During the visit, he reviewed relief measures for affected families and assessed the progress of rehabilitation work. The Chief Minister also inspected ongoing development projects and interacted with local officials to ensure that infrastructure and public welfare schemes continue without delay. He stressed the importance of providing timely assistance to the victims while accelerating development to restore normalcy and improve living conditions. Vijay assured residents that the state government remains committed to supporting those impacted by the tragedy and preventing similar incidents through improved safety measures and administrative preparedness.
