DIVYA DELHI : The Supreme Court on Monday refused to entertain the plea filed by the producer of the Tamil film Jana Nayagan seeking clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification. The apex court asked the producer to approach the Madras High Court, directing that the matter be decided on January 20. The case relates to objections raised over the film’s certification, which has delayed its release. The Supreme Court’s decision means that the final outcome on the film’s CBFC clearance will now depend on the Madras High Court’s ruling.
