The National Service Scheme (NSS) Society organized the ‘Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect’ program at the Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT), located in Sector 17, Rohini, Delhi. Organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, the primary objective of this program was to inspire the nation’s youth toward nation-building and to align them with the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ (Developed India 2047). Held at the Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology—an institution guided by its President, Shri Vinod Vats—the program commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the invocation of Goddess Saraswati. During the event, Ms. Isha Dheer, a representative from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), spoke extensively regarding the popularity and significance of the national song ‘Vande Mataram,’ marking the completion of its 150th year. She highlighted the pivotal role this song played in the country’s freedom struggle, uniting the people to fight collectively against British rule. Furthermore, while shedding light on its historical significance, she emphasized that the song has consistently served as an inspiration for people to remain dedicated to the nation. Addressing the students of the institution, he stated that without the cooperation of the youth, the development of any nation cannot even be imagined. The youth play a pivotal role in the social and economic development of any nation. Engaging in a direct dialogue with the students, he emphasized that the participation of the youth is absolutely essential for bringing about positive change in society. By doing so, he made the students realize their responsibilities toward the nation and society. At the conclusion of the program, everyone pledged to make an active contribution toward the progress and prosperity of the nation, and the National Anthem was sung collectively. This event proved to be a significant step toward realizing the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ (Developed India 2047).
