DIVYA DELHI : Delhiites woke up to a noticeably cooler morning as the minimum temperature in the national capital dropped to 16 degrees Celsius, marking the lowest temperature recorded so far this season. The dip in mercury brought a pleasant chill to the air, with many residents stepping out in light jackets and warm clothes during the early morning hours. The change in weather was particularly noticeable in open areas and residential neighbourhoods, where a cool breeze added to the morning chill. For morning walkers, cyclists and those heading to work early, the weather offered a refreshing change after relatively warmer days. As the temperature continues to fall, Delhi’s familiar winter atmosphere appears to be gradually returning. Tea stalls and roadside vendors also saw people seeking a warm cup of tea to beat the morning chill. Weather conditions are expected to remain comfortable during the day, while mornings and nights may continue to feel cooler. The gradual drop in temperature is a reminder that the winter season is approaching, bringing with it cooler mornings, shorter evenings and the much-awaited change in Delhi’s weather.
