Divya Delhi : Lucknow The Samajwadi Party has finalized a strategy to field around 100 Dalit and tribal candidates in the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh. As part of the plan, 14 candidates will contest from general (unreserved) constituencies, reflecting the party’s broader social representation strategy.
According to party sources, the move is aimed at expanding the Samajwadi Party’s support base among Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) while strengthening its electoral prospects across the state.
