Ranveer Singh to Return Signing Amount Amid ‘Don 3’ Dispute

In a major development, Ranveer Singh is reportedly taking steps to resolve his ongoing dispute with filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani following his exit from Don 3.According to media reports, the actor has agreed to return his signing amount of approximately ₹10 crore to Excel Entertainment. Additionally, Singh has reportedly offered the production house a stake in his upcoming project, tentatively titled *Pralay*, though details of the arrangement remain undisclosed. No official confirmation has been issued by any of the parties involved. The dispute arose after Singh’s sudden departure from *Don 3*, which led the production house to allegedly seek ₹40 crore in compensation. The claim was said to cover pre-production expenses, scheduling disruptions, and related losses. Singh, however, reportedly exited the project citing dissatisfaction with the script, lack of a bound screenplay, and concerns over the film’s management. As tensions escalated, the Producers Guild of India is believed to have intervened to mediate. Meanwhile, rumours of Aamir Khan acting as a mediator were dismissed by the actor himself. With no official statements yet, *Don 3* remains uncertain, and the future of the franchise continues to hang in the balance.
