Rajasthan Government to Conduct Intensive Health Screening of All Pregnant Women

Divya Delhi : Jaipur The Rajasthan Government has announced an intensive health screening programme for all pregnant women across the state to strengthen maternal healthcare and ensure the early detection of high-risk pregnancies. Under the initiative, health workers and medical teams will conduct comprehensive check-ups, including routine antenatal examinations, nutritional assessments, and necessary diagnostic tests. The programme aims to identify complications at an early stage and provide timely treatment to reduce maternal and infant mortality. State health officials said the campaign will be implemented through government hospitals, primary health centres, and community health centres. Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) and Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) will also play a key role in identifying beneficiaries and ensuring regular follow-up. The government said the initiative is part of its broader commitment to improving maternal and child healthcare services by ensuring that every pregnant woman receives quality medical care throughout her pregnancy.
