Divya Delhi : Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has dismissed speculation surrounding the theatrical return of the iconic Bollywood film ‘3 Idiots’, clarifying that the movie is not being re-released in cinemas. The clarification comes after reports and social media discussions suggested that the 2009 blockbuster was set for another theatrical run. Addressing the rumours, Chopra stated that there are currently no plans to bring 3 Idiots back to the big screen. He urged fans not to believe unverified information circulating online and confirmed that no official announcement regarding a re-release has been made. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and starring Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Boman Irani, 3 Idiots remains one of Bollywood’s most celebrated films, known for its engaging storyline and commentary on the education system.
