Plane Carrying Ajit Pawar Crashes After 35 Minutes in Air, Belonged to Delhi-Based Operator VSR

DIVYA DELHI :  Ajit Pawar Killed in Plane Crash Near Baramati; AAIB Launches Probe The aircraft carrying Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar crashed near Baramati after flying for around 35 minutes, killing all five people on board, according to flight tracking data and preliminary DGCA information. The Learjet 45, operated by Delhi-based charter firm VSR Aviation, took off from Mumbai at around 8:10 am and disappeared from radar at 8:45 am while attempting to land at the Baramati airstrip. Officials suspect poor visibility may have played a role in the accident. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has sent a team to inspect the crash site and begin a formal investigation.
