DIVYA DELHI : Bollywood actor Nushrratt Bharuccha has suffered a spinal fracture following an accident during her work-cum-holiday trip to Bali. According to a statement issued by her publicist, the actor was hospitalised in Bali and remained under medical observation following the incident. Doctors, after further evaluation, advised spine surgery. Her team arranged for Bharuccha to be brought back to Mumbai by air ambulance so that she could undergo the required surgery and continue her treatment. She has since returned to Mumbai, where she is expected to receive further medical care. The actor’s team said that her health and medical treatment are the immediate priority. It also indicated that the injury and subsequent surgery could affect her professional commitments over the coming weeks, as she will require adequate time for rest and recovery. Bharuccha’s team has requested fans and the media to respect her privacy during the treatment period. Further updates on her recovery are expected to be shared when appropriate.
