DIVYA DELHI : Cape Canaveral: NASA’s giant moon rocket has been grounded until at least April and will return to the Vehicle Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center for further repairs. The decision comes after a new issue surfaced in the rocket’s helium system, just days after engineers completed a repeat fueling test to fix hydrogen leaks. The helium malfunction disrupted flow to the upper stage — critical for purging engines and pressurizing fuel tanks — forcing another delay. NASA had earlier targeted March 6 for launch, already a month behind schedule. The rollback aims to preserve a possible April launch window, though officials say that depends on repair progress. The mission, Artemis II, will send four astronauts — three Americans and one Canadian — around the Moon, marking humanity’s first lunar voyage since the Apollo program.
