DIVYA DELHI : Madras High Court Sets Aside Censor Clearance for Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’, Orders Fresh Hearing The Madras High Court on Tuesday cancelled an earlier order that had directed the CBFC to grant a censor certificate to Vijay’s film Jana Nayagan and sent the matter back for fresh consideration. A division bench said principles of natural justice were not followed in the previous proceedings and directed that the censor board be given a proper opportunity to present its case. The court also asked the film’s producers, KVN Productions, to amend their petition. The dispute began after the CBFC delayed certification and sought further review, stalling the film’s release.
