Divya Delhi : President Droupadi Murmu has said that India considers Southeast Europe a dynamic region of growth, innovation, and strategic opportunity, highlighting the country’s commitment to strengthening ties with nations in the region. Her remarks came during an official engagement aimed at deepening India’s diplomatic and economic cooperation with Southeast European countries.
President Murmu emphasized that India values its long-standing friendship with the countries of Southeast Europe and is keen to expand collaboration in trade, investment, technology, education, innovation, culture, and people-to-people exchanges. She noted that the region plays an increasingly important role in global economic development and offers significant opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships.
The President also underlined India’s vision of working closely with international partners to promote sustainable development, regional stability, and shared prosperity. She expressed confidence that stronger cooperation would benefit both India and Southeast European nations while contributing to global peace and economic progress.
