Divya Delhi : Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has urged schools and educators to promote the early identification of learning disabilities among students through the PRASHAST app. He highlighted the importance of timely support to ensure inclusive and accessible education for all children. Speaking about the initiative, Pradhan said that early screening can help identify students who may require additional academic assistance and specialised support. He encouraged teachers, parents, and educational institutions to make effective use of digital tools to improve learning outcomes and create a supportive environment for students with special needs. The PRASHAST app has been developed to assist in the screening and identification of disabilities among school students under the framework of inclusive education. Officials stated that the initiative aims to strengthen early intervention and connect students with appropriate educational resources. The move is part of broader efforts by the government to make the education system more inclusive and ensure equal opportunities for every learner.
