DIVYA DELHI : Delhi schools will upload the first list of candidates along with allotted points for Nursery, KG, and Class 1 admissions on January 16, as per the Directorate of Education schedule. Admissions are being conducted through a points-based system based on criteria such as neighbourhood distance, sibling preference, and alumni status. Parents have alleged that some schools began document verification early and asked for fee payments before the first list, which is scheduled to be released on January 23. The DoE has clarified that schools are not allowed to collect fees before the publication of the selection list. Parents can raise objections from January 24 to February 3, while the second admission list will be released on February 9. The admission process will conclude on March 19, 2026.
