DIVYA DELHI : Several schools in the national capital received bomb threat emails prompting evacuations and heightened security measures, police said. Local police teams, bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs were deployed to the affected schools as a precaution. Authorities said no suspicious objects were found during searches. The threatening email, sent around 7.22 am, warned of explosions later in the day and contained extremist references. Police have launched an investigation to trace the source of the emails. Officials noted this was not the first such incident, as similar threats were reported at Delhi schools last month, triggering citywide security alerts.
