Divya Delhi : Delhi Police have arrested a notorious mobile phone snatcher and recovered five stolen mobile phones along with a stolen Honda Activa scooty used in multiple snatching incidents. The operation was carried out by the Nand Nagri Police Station in the Shahdara district of Delhi following a complaint of mobile phone snatching near B-6 Dharamshala, Nand Nagri. The case was registered after the victim reported that her mobile phone had been snatched. A police team launched an investigation using CCTV footage, technical surveillance, local intelligence, and offender profiling. Based on the evidence, the accused was tracked down and arrested. During interrogation, police recovered five stolen mobile phones and the Honda Activa scooty allegedly used in the crimes. Police said the arrest has helped solve multiple cases of mobile phone snatching in the area. Further investigation is underway to determine the accused’s involvement in other criminal incidents and identify possible accomplices.
