The Delhi Khel Mahakumbh 2025–26 concluded successfully with the athletics and other sports competitions being organised through the dedicated efforts of the Delhi Government and the Delhi Sports Department. The final day of athletics events was held on 18 March 2026 at East Vinod Nagar Stadium, Delhi, where athletes from different districts showcased remarkable talent and determination. Several distinguished guests, including senior sports officials, representatives of the Delhi Olympic Association and other dignitaries, were present to encourage the participants and motivate young athletes. Their presence added prestige to the event and inspired the players to perform at their best. The athletics competitions witnessed outstanding performances across various categories. In the Men’s Open 3000m race, Badal from South Delhi secured first place with a timing of 8 minutes 46 seconds, while Sahil Khan from East Delhi finished second and Narender from East Delhi secured third position. In the Women’s Open 400m event, Riya Bisht from North Delhi claimed first place, followed by Harshika from South Delhi and Mehak from North Delhi. Aman Chaudhary from South Delhi won the Men’s Open 400m race with an impressive timing of 48.41 seconds. Other events, including high jump, javelin throw and long jump, also saw excellent performances from athletes representing different districts of Delhi. The football final, held on 19 March at Anandvas Sports Complex, witnessed an exciting match between VFC and Spartan FC. After a 1–1 draw in regular time, Spartan FC won the match 4–3 in the tie-breaker to become the champions. Kabaddi finals were also held in Pitampura, where Ambedkar College and D.R.C. College emerged as winners in the men’s and women’s university categories. The event concluded with renewed enthusiasm for sports among Delhi’s youth.
