Delhi Hosts Mega AI Summit With Over 600 Startups and 2.5 Lakh Attendees

DIVYA DELHI : The India AI Impact Summit 2026 began on Monday at Bharat Mandapam, alongside the India AI Impact Expo 2026, showcasing cutting-edge AI innovations from across the globe. Organized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) with STPI, the expo spans 10 arenas over 70,000 sq meters and features 13 international country pavilions, over 300 curated exhibitions, and live demonstrations across three thematic areas — People, Planet, and Progress. More than 600 startups are participating, unveiling 12 indigenous AI foundation models trained on Indian datasets covering all 22 official languages. The summit expects to draw 2.5 lakh visitors, including global delegates. The four-day event will host over 500 sessions with 3,250+ speakers and panelists, featuring keynote addresses, policy discussions, and expert roundtables, highlighting India’s growing role in the global AI landscape.
