The Delhi High Court has directed e-commerce platform Meesho to remove listings of products found to be infringing the registered trademark of apparel brand Jockey. The interim order came after the court observed that products sold under names such as “JOYKE,” “JOYEBEE,” “JOYESS,” and “JOJOKE” were prima facie deceptively similar to the JOCKEY trademark and could mislead consumers. Justice Jyoti Singh granted an ex parte interim injunction, restraining the sellers from manufacturing, marketing, or offering such products for sale. The court also directed Meesho to block the identified product listings within 36 hours of receiving the order and furnish details of the sellers, including KYC information, registered addresses, transaction records, UPI details, and IP logs, within four weeks. Jockey had approached the court after discovering the allegedly infringing listings earlier this year, claiming they violated its trademark rights and could cause consumer confusion. The matter is scheduled for further hearing on September 24, 2026.
