Divya Delhi : New Delhi: The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi, has announced the results of the second computerized draw for the 2026–27 academic session, selecting more than 8,000 students from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Disadvantaged Group (DG), and Children With Special Needs (CWSN) categories for admission to private unaided recognized schools across the national capital. The second draw is part of Delhi’s ongoing admission process under the provisions of the Right to Education (RTE) Act, which reserves seats for students from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. The computerized lottery system is designed to ensure transparency and fairness in the allocation of seats. Parents and guardians of selected students are advised to complete the admission formalities within the timeline prescribed by the Directorate of Education. They will be required to submit the necessary documents to the allotted schools for verification. Education officials stated that the admission process aims to promote inclusive and equitable access to quality education for children from marginalized communities. The Directorate is expected to release further updates regarding document verification and subsequent admission procedures in the coming days.
