On April 14, a special program was organized by the local educational committee at the community center on the occasion of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. Approximately 100 to 150 people participated enthusiastically in this program. The program was attended by Harkesh Mahendra Singh, Ranbir Singh, Dharmvir Rathi, Amit Kumar, along with respected senior citizens of the society. On this occasion, Parasram, Subedar Omprakash Bohat, Jagdish Chander Nirmohi, Sunil Lukhar, and Jogendra Dabas also graced the program with their dignified presence.n The main objective of the program was to spread awareness about the importance of education and the eradication of the caste system. Detailed discussions were held on Babasaheb Ambedkar’s life philosophy and the social reforms carried out by him. Speakers at the program highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s educational perspective, saying that education is the most powerful medium for equality and progress in society. They emphasized the relevance of Babasaheb’s famous message: “Educate, Organize, Agitate.” Regarding the eradication of the caste system, the speakers underlined Dr. Ambedkar’s thoughts and stressed the need to eliminate the discrimination prevalent in society. Those present pledged to incorporate Babasaheb’s ideals into their lives. The program organizers said that Dr. Ambedkar’s dream of India will only be realized when every person is educated and caste-based discrimination is completely eliminated from society. The program concluded with the national anthem.
