Delhi Delhi : The education authorities have announced that applications for recognition of new private schools will open from July 31, providing an opportunity for eligible educational institutions to obtain official approval to operate. The application process will be conducted according to the prescribed guidelines and eligibility criteria laid down by the concerned department. School managements seeking recognition will be required to submit the necessary documents, including details related to infrastructure, land ownership, safety measures, qualified teaching staff, and compliance with the norms under the Right to Education (RTE) Act and other applicable regulations. Officials said the recognition process is aimed at ensuring that new private schools meet the required standards of quality education, student safety, and administrative compliance before beginning operations. Applications received within the stipulated period will be scrutinized, followed by inspections and verification before final approval is granted. The move is expected to encourage the establishment of well-equipped educational institutions while maintaining transparency and accountability in the school recognition process.
