Divya Delhi : Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Group, has donated ₹11 crore to the Assam Flood Relief Fund to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for people affected by the recent floods. The announcement was made by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Expressing gratitude for the contribution, the Chief Minister said the donation would strengthen the state’s ongoing relief operations and help provide assistance to flood-affected families. The funds will be utilised for rehabilitation measures, emergency support and restoration of essential services in the affected areas. The donation comes as the Assam government continues to intensify relief and recovery efforts following widespread flooding that impacted several districts, displaced thousands of residents and damaged infrastructure. Authorities are working to restore normalcy while extending aid to those affected. The contribution reflects growing support from the corporate sector in assisting disaster relief initiatives and rebuilding communities impacted by natural calamities.
