Divya Delhi : The Anti-Corruption and Crime Investigation Bureau of India (ACCIBI) honoured distinguished officers of the Delhi Police with the “Excellence Services Award” in recognition of their exemplary service, integrity, and dedication to public welfare. Unlike traditional award ceremonies, the honours were presented during courtesy visits to the officers’ respective offices as a mark of appreciation for their outstanding contributions.The initiative aims to encourage police officers who have demonstrated exceptional honesty, courage, and commitment in strengthening law and order while fostering public trust and safety. DCP Dal Singh was honoured for his remarkable leadership, impartial working style, bravery, and significant contributions to public service. Known for promoting a transparent and inclusive work culture, he believes in treating every member of the police force equally, irrespective of rank. Under his leadership, efforts to control crime, maintain law and order, and combat drug-related offences have been widely appreciated. ACP Joginder Singh received the award for his effective action against organised crime and illegal activities. He has successfully led several operations against gangs involved in the manufacturing of counterfeit branded products, resulting in the closure of multiple illegal factories. His firm, fair, and fearless approach towards law enforcement has earned widespread recognition. Senior Inspector Sanjay Gadhe (NAV) was recognised for his outstanding contribution to cybercrime prevention, public awareness, and policing excellence. He has consistently worked to educate citizens about cyber fraud and online safety. His books on cyber security and cybercrime awareness have also played an important role in spreading awareness among the public. Speaking on the occasion, ACCIBI National President Ajit Kumar said that recognising honest and dedicated police officers is the organisation’s responsibility, as such officers strengthen public confidence through their integrity, courage, and commitment to service. National General Secretary Harish Chandra stated that ACCIBI has been actively working for several years in the fields of anti-corruption awareness, cybercrime prevention, anti-drug campaigns, and various social initiatives with the support of hundreds of volunteers and members across the country. Delhi Director Atul Khanna said the organisation will continue to honour police officers and other distinguished personalities who make exceptional contributions towards nation-building and social welfare.
