Divya Delhi : Once a familiar face in some of Bollywood’s biggest hits, actress Rimi Sen known for films like Dhoom, Golmaal, Phir Hera Pheri, Hungama and Johnny Gaddar has taken a very different career path. Years after stepping away from the limelight, the former star has reinvented herself as a real estate professional in Dubai. Rimi Sen is currently working as a real estate agent in the UAE. In a recent interaction with Buildcaps Real Estate LLC, she spoke about her transition from films to property consulting and shared her experiences of building a new career abroad. Rimi said Dubai offered her a welcoming environment and a sense of stability that helped her start afresh. Highlighting the city’s multicultural character, she noted that a majority of Dubai’s population comprises expatriates and that the city accommodates people from diverse backgrounds and faiths. She praised the city’s focus on improving quality of life and ease of living. Speaking about the business environment, the former actress said Dubai’s real estate sector operates with clear rules and discipline. “There is a proper system in place. Developers, agencies and agents all have defined roles, which makes the market smooth and professional,” she explained. While Rimi Sen may no longer be active in films, her career shift has once again brought her into the spotlight—this time for successfully carving out a new identity far from the world of Bollywood.
