DIVYA DELHI : Noted author and filmmaker Ram Kamal Mukherjee has joined producer Aritra Das upcoming Hindi feature film ‘Common Aadmi’ as Creative Producer. The film, directed by debutant filmmaker Khushal S. Rathore, is based on the book Common Aadmi and narrates the inspiring journey of Chartered Accountant Devendra Jain. Producer Aritra Das recently unveiled the film’s pre-teaser, offering a glimpse into an emotionally driven story set in the 1980s. The narrative follows Devraj Jain, an ordinary man from Jaipur’s Pink City who dreams of becoming a Chartered Accountant. However his father wants him to pursue a secure government job. Choosing to follow his ambition despite family expectations becomes a defining moment in his life. Cinematographer Winston Joses has captured the film across various locations in India, reflecting the period and milieu of the story. Common Aadmi’ marks the launch of Aritra Das Creations, Das new production banner, in association with Nurture Rise Productions. Mukherjee, who shares a decade-long creative association with Das, will guide the film’s creative direction and work closely with the debutant director. The film introduces Anujj Anil Sharrma and Sreeja Dutta, with Rituparna Senguptaa and Sonali Kulkarni appearing in special roles.
