DIVYA DELHI : India continued its strong start at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, with its shooters delivering three medals on Monday. The country’s latest haul came in the men’s 10m air rifle events, where Himanshu Dhillon, Rudrankksh Patil and Parth Mane produced impressive performances. The Indian trio of Himanshu Dhillon, Rudrankksh Patil and 18-year-old Parth Mane secured the silver medal in the men’s 10m air rifle team event with a combined score of 1890.1 points. China claimed gold with 1899.0 points, while South Korea took bronze. India then added two more medals in the individual final. Himanshu Dhillon won silver after scoring 252.4 points, while Rudrankksh Patil claimed bronze with 230.9 points. China’s Sheng Lihao took the gold medal with 254.2 points. The three medals have strengthened India’s shooting campaign at the continental event, continuing the sport’s contribution to the country’s medal tally.
