DIVYA DELHI : Priyanka Chopra’s manager Anjula Acharia has revealed that she was mocked for attempting to introduce the Bollywood star to Hollywood. Speaking on The Ok Sweetie Show, Acharia recalled being told she was “stupid” and “crazy” for believing a “brown Bollywood star” could succeed in America. Despite the skepticism, Priyanka made her Western debut with the TV series Quantico and went on to build a successful global career with projects like Baywatch, Citadel, and The Matrix franchise. She is currently set to appear in the pirate adventure The Bluff, releasing on Prime Video, and will also return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film slated for 2027.
