DIVYA DELHI : Two people lost their lives after the battery of an e-rickshaw reportedly exploded in West Delhi, triggering a fire and raising fresh concerns over the safety of electric three-wheelers. The incident took place in the city, where emergency services were alerted following reports of the explosion. According to preliminary information, the battery explosion caused the e-rickshaw to catch fire, leaving the victims trapped or severely injured. Firefighters and emergency personnel reached the spot and initiated rescue and firefighting operations. The victims were subsequently taken for medical attention, where they were declared dead. Police have started an investigation to determine the exact cause of the battery blast.
