DIVYA DELHI : Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of several of its passenger vehicles from August 2026, giving prospective buyers another reason to reconsider their purchase plans. The latest revision marks the automaker’s second price hike within a span of three months. According to reports, the increase varies across models and variants, with prices rising by up to ₹30,000. The company has attributed the latest revision to continued cost pressures and an adverse input-cost environment. Rising prices of key materials and other production-related expenses have added to the overall burden on automobile manufacturers. The price hike affects multiple models across Maruti Suzuki’s Arena and Nexa portfolios. Some popular vehicles, including the Baleno, Fronx, Swift, Dzire, Brezza, Ertiga and Jimny, have received variant-specific price revisions. The Baleno, for instance, has seen increases of up to ₹30,000 on select variants. The latest move is expected to increase the overall purchase cost for customers and could influence buying decisions in the coming months.
