Divya Delhi : India’s automotive components industry is expected to grow at around 10% annually through FY30, driven by rising vehicle production, increasing demand for auto parts and the expansion of India’s automotive manufacturing ecosystem. The sector is expected to benefit from strong domestic demand as well as growing export opportunities. Increasing localisation of components, technological advancements and investments in manufacturing capacity are also likely to support the industry’s expansion. The growth outlook comes as Indian automobile manufacturers and component suppliers continue to strengthen their supply chains and improve production capabilities. The shift towards electric vehicles and advanced automotive technologies is also creating new opportunities for component makers. The expected expansion of the auto parts industry could further strengthen India’s position as a major global automotive manufacturing and export hub, while supporting investment and employment across the sector.
