Divya Delhi : Ukraine has called on the international community to increase pressure on Russia to end what it described as attacks on civilian ships, warning that such incidents threaten global maritime security and the safety of commercial shipping. In an official statement, Ukrainian authorities urged governments and international organizations to take stronger diplomatic and economic measures to deter further attacks. Kyiv said continued strikes on civilian vessels violate international law and pose risks to global trade, food security, and freedom of navigation. The appeal comes amid ongoing tensions in the Black Sea region, where maritime security has remained a key concern since the start of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Ukraine reaffirmed its commitment to working with international partners to protect shipping routes and ensure the safe movement of commercial vessels.
