Divya Delhi : Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has announced a cash reward of ₹30 lakh for weightlifter Raja Muthupandi in recognition of his silver medal at the 2026 Commonwealth Games (CWG). The announcement was made to honour the athlete’s outstanding achievement and encourage excellence in sports. Congratulating Raja Muthupandi, the Chief Minister praised his dedication, hard work, and determination, saying that his success has brought pride to both Tamil Nadu and the nation. He also reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting athletes through financial incentives and improved sports infrastructure.
