Divya Delhi : India and Nepal strengthened their development partnership with the inauguration of an India-funded college building and the launch of a new school construction project in Nepal. The initiatives were undertaken with financial assistance from the Government of India as part of its ongoing support for Nepal’s education infrastructure and community development. The newly inaugurated college building is expected to improve higher education facilities for students, while the new school project aims to enhance access to quality education for children in the region. Officials from both India and Nepal attended the events and highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation in promoting educational and social development. The projects are part of India’s broader commitment to supporting Nepal through High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDPs), which focus on sectors such as education, healthcare, and public infrastructure. Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to deepening people-to-people ties and expanding development cooperation.
