Divya Delhi : U.S. President Donald Trump has said that Iran is seeking a diplomatic agreement with the United States, while reiterating that Tehran will never be allowed to develop or possess nuclear weapons. Speaking to reporters, Trump stated that discussions between the two countries are ongoing and expressed optimism that Iran is becoming more serious about negotiations. Trump emphasized that although diplomatic channels remain open, the U.S. will maintain its firm stance on preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He said any future agreement must include strict guarantees that Iran’s nuclear program remains peaceful and complies with international commitments. His remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East and continued international efforts to revive diplomacy over Iran’s nuclear program. While Trump suggested progress is possible, he cautioned that no final agreement has been reached and that negotiations could still take time.
